23. New friends...
The ranger took the cow and his buddies into the veterinarian's office to introduce them to the newest guests at the zoo...a litter of pigs! The veterinarian said that some people call a litter of pigs a drift. The cow said, "You learn something new everyday when you come to the zoo." The cow congratulated the new mother and father and said hello to all the little ones. They oinked happily...and wanted to eat. Hungry little guys. The cow and his friends promised to come back and visit again soon. When he went to the bus later that afternoon he was thinking about his day at the zoo. He helped a raccoon find his family and met a new group of pigs. All in all it was a very good day at the zoo. "It's nice to visit the zoo and see my friends there," the cow thought. He wondered what would happen next week when he visited his friends again. It couldn't be as exciting as today...could it? |
