24. The missing page...
Each Saturday the cow visits his friends at the zoo. Sunday is the day the cow family spends time together. The cow's mom likes to do gardening. His dad likes to cook. His sister likes to play video games. And the cow likes to read books. The cow loves to read mystery books and tries to solve the story before he gets to the end. The book he was reading was about a missing page in a book. The book was very old. Only one page was missing. The cow wondered what could have happened to a missing page. Why did it get lost? Who lost it? Did they find it? All questions the cow asked himself as he was reading the book. He read it all day. After dinner he continued reading it. And then he got to the last page where the secret was exposed. Just then...the cow fell asleep. What happened to the missing page? |
