26. The missing page

It was very puzzling. The book that the cow was reading had a missing page. When he went to the library, he found another copy of the book and the page was missing in that book too. The cow wasn't going to give up. But, where could he find the missing page? If Aunt Polly was around she could figure it out. But, Aunt Polly was away. The cow came up with another plan to find the missing page. He decided that there was one person who definitely had the missing page...the author. So, the cow decided to write a letter to the author. Here's what it said, Dear Author, I really enjoyed reading your book. The problem is my copy does not have the last page. I went to the library and the copy in the library didn't have the last page either. Where can I find the missing page? Thank you. Yours truly, The Cow The cow wondered how long it would take to get a response from the author. |
